General Chemistry | Resilience in Learning
The General Chemistry course is intended for college science majors and is typically offered as a two-semester or three-quarter sequence. The course provides a foundation for the key concepts in chemistry, which include atomic/electronic structure, stoichiometry, chemical reactions, bonding, molecular shape, states of matter, solutions, kinetics, equilibrium, acids and bases, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, and nuclear chemistry. A concurrent laboratory component may also be required, but is often considered to be a separate course.
Students who earned the General Chemistry | Resilience in Learning badge through Achieve have chosen to complete 80% or more of their instructors' assignments and nongraded assignments.
